When sports memorabilia juggernaut Fanatics approached us, together with their experiential agency Freeman, about making a big splash at their biggest collectibles show of the year, we were more than ready to take on the challenge. Fanatics Fest is their premier yearly tent-pole event, an immersive, interactive sports and collectibles festival meticulously created by Fanatics and held at the Javits Center in New York City. In the bustling main concourse, we designed and installed a spectacular suspended 32-foot cold air inflatable of Lady Liberty, cleverly connected to an LED screen ball that gave her the dynamic appearance of dunking on the excited audience below. The inflatable sculpture absolutely blew people away, capturing their imagination and attention, and on the very first day, it was shared countless times across various media platforms, firmly cementing it as a truly share-worthy installation.
